This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

The bun bo hue is great. I also tried the pho back in the day and it was great. The shop has been around for so long so they stay busy. I come every time I got a change to go to Grand Rapids MI. Highly recommended for local and tourists

I stopped by for lunch around 12:30 PM and ordered a large bowl of beef pho, and it was exactly what I was craving. The broth had a rich, homemade flavor that tasted like it had been simmering all day, and the beef was tender without being overcooked. The noodles were cooked just right, and the fresh bean sprouts, basil, jalapeΓ±os, and lime really brought everything together. My food came out in about 10 minutes, and the portion was big enough that I still had some broth left at the end. The staff checked on me a couple of times to make sure everything was okay, and the restaurant was clean and relaxed even during the lunch rush. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the mood for a good bowl of pho.

This was my first time here and I was very impressed by their food, especially the noodle broth. I ventured by ordering the Special Egg Noodle soup (#19). It did say it will be a large bowl, but I was still ssurprised when the waitress served me a gigantic bowl that was bigger than my face. This broth was so authentic, starting with the first whiff of the aroma that comes from the combination of liver and seafood. I know reading this description may weird some people out. But this is exactly how the Authentic Hủ tiếu Mì will smell like. Other Vietnamese will recognize and appreciate this aroma instantly . The Egg noodle was aldente while still infused with rich flavors through every strands. The bowl comes with many pieces of seafood which are springy, slices of flavorful bbq pork, shrimps and quail eggs. The service was very good, the lady took time to explain to us the ingredients and checked on us multiple times for refills . Overall a very good and authentic place. I wish they were closer, but I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids. The food is exceptional and the staff is a family that remembers you. I've been eating this family's food to around 20 years even before they moved to this location. The pho is comfort food. I get the #9 beef soup. Also, the beef stew pho, shrimp toast, fresh rolls, and crispy egg rolls are so good. Try the vietnamese iced coffee and fresh Lemonade they squeeze by hand. Great value food.
